How would you describe your style,
I’m drawn to classic, effortless, functional pieces that I feel comfortable and confident in. I love masculine silhouettes, such as blazers and trench coats.

What is the oldest item in your wardrobe?
My nan’s going away coat from her wedding day. It’s a cream cropped woollen coat in amazing condition. I’ve worn it to a couple of events in Narrandera, like the races.

And the latest addition?
Black Saint Laurent loafers – they’re still in the box.

What would you wear …
… on a first date? Pants with a fun top – a silk blouse or something strappy – and a little heel.
… on a plane? I show up put together – comfy jeans, Bassike tee and Camilla and Marc blazer – then change into something comfortable like Sir The Label sweats. My dad’s an undertaker, he taught me how to fold my blazer so it’s not creased when I get off the plane.
… on the red carpet?Oscar de la Renta or Valentino would be the ideal look.

What’s your favourite fashion era?
1940s. It was a time when there was conflict. fashionThis is how I adapted: rationing made jackets and hemlines shorter and allowed women to wear pants. I love the fact that clothing became more masculine. Then towards the end of the ’40s you had Christian Dior’s first collection, the New Look – a time of optimism.

Who’s your favourite designer?
I’ve got a long list of favourites! I love Dion Lee and Camilla and Marc, Zimmermann and Gabriela Hearst. Phoebe Philo and Isabel Marant are also my favorites.

What’s your current fragrance of choice?
I’m wearing a beautiful new Chanel fragrance, Paris-Édimbourg. It smells like walking through the forest.
