Waller used Instagram to show off her work when she started her business. She reflects on her greatest challenge: getting retailers to trust Waller. “I faced a lot of rejection. I didn’t have a huge buying history. That’s where it came down to being a really good, genuine passionate person. That’s how I’ve built a lot of my relationships. I used my Instagram as my portfolio to say “Hey, this is what I’m doing. I have great clients shopping with me. I’m worth your time,”Waller said. Waller will find any item. Waller’s business runs at lightning speed, often completing orders in less than 48 hours. Waller receives requests from customers via Instagram direct message and email. She then logs it with her team and sends them a quote for their product along with her fee. From there, it’s a mad dash to find who has it first. She posts her finds with the hashtag #SourcedbyGW, a sign of her success in making the exclusive, accessible.
