Each team had to allow a 27th player on the roster. So the Yankees chose Estevan Florial while the White Sox called Danny Mendick. Florial was as close to Moonlight Graham as any player could get. Florial, 23, had made 28 plate appearances for the Yankees in his previous seasons.
