Pink Ribbon Connection Stars of Pink Fashion Show will spotlight breast cancer survivors.

Today Dori Sparks Unsworth (executive director of Pink Ribbon Connection) and Pam Ellis (owner of The Secret Ingredient) joined us today. They were joined by three incredible breast cancer survivors whom you can see in the upcoming episode.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, breast cancer survivors will share their inspiring and courageous stories as they walk the runway dressed in the latest fall fashions at the Pink Ribbon Connection Stars of Pink Fashion Show. The event raises funds for direct support to Indiana breast-cancer survivors and their families.

The professionally produced show features fashions from local boutique The Secret Ingredient, and all proceeds from the event directly benefit local breast cancer survivors and their families through Pink Ribbon Connection.

Peer counseling provided by other breast cancer survivorsBreast and wellness-focused education sessions and information sessionsFree bras. Wigs. Protheses. Hats. Information packets for patients going through treatment

WHAT: Pink Ribbon Connection’s Stars of Pink breast cancer survivor fashion show

WHERE: Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Reception starts at 10 a.m.; luncheon begins at 11 a.m. fashion show begins at around noon. (Balloon release honoring those who have bravely fought against breast cancer takes place at 11:40 a.m.

WHERE: Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland St.         

WHO: Local breast cancer survivors, their families, and members of their medical team.
